Caithness KLICS – Sessional Support Worker
Support / Sessional Worker Post Caithness KLICS (Kids Living In Caring Situations) – THURSO Based
Closing Date: 28th June 2024.
Support Worker 6 hours per week @ £12.00- hrs Wednesday – Friday after school sessions, term time only.
Requirements:
The applicant must hold a clean driving licence and be prepared to use their own vehicle when required.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. To work closely with young carers during group activities and sessions.
2. Support drop-in sessions for young carers during school drop-in sessions.
3. Help create a fun and safe environment for young carers to come to.
4. Preparation and planning of activities and snacks for during group sessions.
5. To maintain confidentiality of service users and information relating to the service users.
6. Any other duties are reasonably required to fulfil the role.
7. Represent Caithness KLICS professionally both within and out with work.
Essential skills.
1. Experience in working with children and young people.
2. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. The skill to listen to the needs and worries of the service users.
