Did you know that Caithness KLICS covers the whole of Caithness. So no matter where about in the county you live, young carers have the opportunity to be supported by us.
As well as running our after school sessions and our drop in sessions, we also have an outreach worker who travels to rural schools to support young carers who find it harder to attend our group sessions in either Wick or Thurso because of their location.
This map of Caithness shows the local community council area’s and what percentage of our young carers current live in within those boundaries. We fully believe that there are more unidentified young carers in Caithness and within your community council area’s.
